Privacy Policy

This page describes the general privacy principles for GSkout. Before public launch, this policy should be reviewed and adapted to the exact production infrastructure, analytics providers, authentication providers and data retention behavior used by the deployed service.

GSkout processes repository metadata, dependency information and supported source or configuration content required to produce an analysis report.

Public repository content may be accessed through GitHub. Private repository access depends on the user's authenticated GitHub integration and repositories made available to the configured GitHub App.

The current GSkout V1 frontend can persist analysis reports in browser IndexedDB so workspace reports can survive refreshes.

Secret-like evidence is designed to be masked in findings instead of exposing full detected credential values.

This policy may change as GSkout's production infrastructure, features and data handling evolve.
